Esseco’s San Martino di Trecate plant recently hosted a workshop on LO.TO. (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, organized in collaboration with Confindustria Novara Vercelli Valsesia and Contec Industry | Gruppo Contec. The initiative was part of the activities promoted by the RSPP (Health and Safety Officers) working group, with the goal of sharing best practices in workplace safety.
The event focused on a key issue in industrial safety: how to prevent the unintentional startup of machinery during maintenance or cleaning operations. Following an introductory classroom session, participants observed a live demonstration of LO.TO. procedures applied directly on Esseco equipment.
It was a valuable and hands-on training opportunity that encouraged open dialogue between local companies and reinforced a shared commitment to a safety culture based on daily actions, awareness and accountability.
