Social Commitment

Esseco’s social commitment is rooted in strong values of individual and collective responsibility. Our business decisions aim to create value for the local community while generating employment opportunities in an environmentally responsible manner. We believe our people are the heart of the company, making their wellbeing our absolute priority.

Employee Wellbeing

Esseco promotes an inclusive work environment based on respect for diversity and equal opportunities, free from any form of discrimination. All employees are covered by the National Chemical Industry Collective Bargaining Agreement and benefit from additional protections including health insurance and supplementary pension schemes. To support purchasing power, a 5% salary increase was implemented under the new Chemical-Pharmaceutical Contract.

Training is considered central to professional development, with an average of 30 hours per employee, primarily focused on safety, quality and technical skills development.

The Esseco Academy, designed for plant operators, includes annual modules of approximately 20 hours combining theoretical and practical lessons taught by qualified instructors. The program aims to increase employee awareness and sense of responsibility while strengthening ties with educational institutions and the local community.

The Academy was created to meet the strategic needs of local businesses, offering training programs both for upskilling current workers and integrating unemployed individuals.
