Supporting talent, technical education, and sustainable innovation: this is the spirit with which Esseco stands alongside the “G. OMAR” Technical Industrial Institute of Novara in the MAD 63 AirGuardians project, selected to represent Italy at the International Exhibition for Young Inventors (IEYI) during Expo 2025 in Osaka.
The project, developed by students Maddalena Ghiselli, Alessio Biscaldi, and Diego Zanotti, introduces a cutting-edge system for the monitoring and removal of PFAS and microplastics. Combining low environmental impact technologies, magnetic nanoparticle filters, and AI-based predictive models, this invention is a powerful example of how technical and scientific education can generate concrete and innovative solutions.
Alongside us are leading industrial partners such as Birla Carbon Italy and SARPOM – Società per Azioni Raffineria Padana Olii Minerali, who share our belief that strong collaboration between schools and industry is essential to tackling today’s environmental and energy challenges.
At Esseco, we firmly believe in chemistry as a positive force. Investing in young people means nurturing skills, passion, and responsibility. It means supporting those who, through curiosity and ingenuity, are laying the foundations of a more conscious, fair, and sustainable future.
We are proud to support these students and be part of their journey — because the future is built together, with concrete actions, vision, and trust.
